Ayurvedic Physicians’ Association(OGAPA) is a service association for the members belonging to Odisha Ayurvedic Medical Service(OAMS) cadre recognized by Govt. of Odisha, Home Deptt. vide its Memo No. 17690/POLL dated 25th June 1965. The members providing health care services round the clock through the public healthcare facility

  • Ayurvedic Hospitals and Ayurvedic Medical colleges established in every nook and corners of the state.
  • We manage all programs under National AYUSH Mission(NAM) and manage COVID-19 pandemic.
  • AYUSH doctors have been co-located at PHC (N), CHCs and DHH providing healthcare services under NHM, Odisha

Mission & Vision

OGAPA vision is clear which is focused on the demands of the Ayurvedic Physicians of Odisha. Our demands should reach each and every Ayurvedic Physicians of our state to achieve our mission and vision.

  • The Association submitted a proposal of Junior Class-1 status to the Medical Officers since long demands which have not ye been materialized.
  • The Association submitted a proposal for cadre restructure of Ayurvedic Doctors since long which have not yet been materialized
  • In the year 2004 some Doctors are recruited as Medical Officer. But they have not yet been regularized since their initial appointment.
